The Gathering (missio) is a shared moment for awareness [waking up to God in the everyday]. It is a community practice to engage life now and imagine a way together full of awareness, hospitality, and solidarity. This practice is limited, it does not encompass the full nature of awareness, solidarity, or hospitality. Gathering together in this way, however, is powerful to reinterpret life through the metanarrative, awaken us to God through elements of worship, and give voice to our story as we seek to express from our unique context with compassion, vulnerability, passion, and creativity.
